We had an absolutely fantastic time with you on the course! We've learned so much - you are a great teacher: patient, kind, clear and encouraging. We can't remember the last time that we did something as good as your course; it was so absorbing and fascinating.
You have a wide knowledge of the history, geography and geology of the area walked; that, and your enthusiasm, makes for a very well-rounded and informed experience.Ian and Liz - April 2015
Nigel is an excellent teacher who structures the course content so that over the two days knowledge was steadily built up and consolidated. The exercises build skills and improve them so that by the end of the two days the basics were automatic.
Nigel clearly explained the principles and practical applications behind the techniques and when it is appropriate to use them.
He is very patient and happy to answer questions and to go over content to ensure that everyone understands.Steve Milligan - 2014
Thanks very much for providing the outstanding mountain navigation course, I now feel confident to tackle mountain navigation in all but the worst weather conditions.
Kay and myself went for another walk on Monday, this time up to Pen Y Fan and onto the adjoining peaks, this gave me the chance to put some of the navigation techniques that you taught me into practice, but without the security blanket of you being there.Paul Davis - May 2014
